- Let's start with the building permit. $1,800 is pretty common, the price can range from $25 to $6,500.
- To dig and backfill your basement will cost about $4,000. If you are in rock or clay, it will be more. Tree removal will also be extra.
- Most concrete basements with footings and foundation for both the house and garage will be around $24,596. Drain tile will add more, if your lot requires it.
