Popular Professional Baseball Player Chooses Golden Eagle Log Homes For His New Home.
 Daland Sheahan, a sales representative at Golden Eagle Log Home Corporate Headquarters in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, answered a call one afternoon. Little did Daland know… That one of his favorite baseball team’s pitcher was on the other end of the phone. When the call was nearly over, Daland asked for the caller’s name and number. The caller responded with, “Ben Sheets." Daland said, “you mean like the pitcher Ben Sheets” and the callers responded, “Exactly like the Pitcher." When in fact it was Ben Sheets on the phone.
Let’s take a step back. Daland is a huge baseball fanatic. Daland has always been a big fan of baseball. It is one of life’s great coincidences that Daland answered a call from someone that he is a fan of.

Ben came to Golden Eagle Log Homes after going to an architect and seeing hundreds of plans, none of which were what he was looking for. He then saw in a Country’s Best magazine which highlighted Golden Eagle’s “Country’s Best” floor plan and liked it right away. Ben also liked the fact that he could pick everything out right at Golden Eagle Log Homes. Ben knew that during the baseball season he would be too busy to spend a lot of time picking things out for his home. The convenience of Golden Eagle’s “One Stop Shopping” approach really helped make the process much easier for Ben.
Ben and Daland discussed options that are available and even showed Ben a few homes that helped Ben express exactly what he was looking for to Daland. As with all clients of Golden Eagle Log Homes, Daland provided top notch service that made Ben’s home a reality without many of the typical hassles for building a new home.
Ben’s home is currently under construction. It is scheduled for completion the early part of 2008. When finished it will look much like the Golden Eagle Log Homes' - Country's Best, only larger.
